SUMMARY:31th Annual California’s Brewers’ Festival (Brewfest)
DESCRIPTION:The California Brewers Festival has grown to be the capstone event of the season for beer enthusiasts in Northern California. Recognized as the first of its kind in craft beer festivals\, the event unites thousands of craft beer and food lovers for an unforgettable experience. \nHosted by the Rotary Club of Point West – Sacramento\, and the Point West Rotary Club Foundation\, the festival has raised nearly $1.75 million for local youth charities since its inception. \nThis year Brewfest will be held on Saturday September 13th at Discovery Park and is the Club’s largest one-day event\, with as many as 85 brewers and several food vendors participating. Regional talent provides entertainment. \nProceeds of the event support children’s charities in the community including valuable funds for CalPAL and Runnin’ for Rhett along with other local children’s charities we support through Point West Rotary. This event brings volunteers from the community and the club. Planning starts months before the event. Opportunities to get involved are numerous.
